Hi, I’m Lenka — a Career Navigation and Workplace Effectiveness Coach.

After years in fast‑paced corporate environments, I realised that if I had paid more attention to understanding myself better - my strengths, patterns of behaviours, values, blind spots, unhelpful beliefs, and my needs - I would have delivered better outcomes. I would have been more personally effective, and more at ease with myself too.

With 20 years of recruitment, talent and people development experience, I now facilitate two types of coaching: Career Navigation and Workplace Effectiveness.

They are very different types of work but both exist to help you set up for success - whatever that words means to you. Because I believe that work should be good for us.

You are probably here because you want to change something about the way you deliver your work, how you show up or how you lead. You might want to be more strategic, more influential, less overwhelmed, more able to spend time on your own development etc.

Whatever you want to be more or less of, I can help!

But changing how you operate won't work unless you understand why you do what you do. We’ll dig deep into the underlying drivers of your behaviours. We’ll use techniques such as cognitive behaviour coaching, transactional analysis or neuro-linguistic programming. Once you have this internal intelligence, you can effectively upgrade how you work or change your relationship with work.

ABOUT ME

  • Before training as an Executive Coach, I built a successful and fulfilling career at Skanska UK, most recently at leadership level.

    My experience spans Recruitment, Learning & Development, and leading the Emerging Talent function.

    During my 12 years at Skanska, I earned four promotions and worked closely with leaders across the business.

    The process of recruiting more than 2,000 professionals gave me a front row seat to how leaders choose who to hire, develop, and promote.

    With plenty of mistakes along the way, I’ve lived through the spectrum of workplace challenges - the people puzzles, the career twists, the self-doubts and the wins that make it all worthwhile.

  • My toolkit includes:

    Neuro-linguistic programming. Helps shift unhelpful thinking patterns, reduce overwhelm, build confidence, and improve communication and influence.

    Transactional analysis. Especially useful at work because it gives people simple, practical ways to understand themselves and others. It is ideal for getting the most out of people through knowing how they like to be recognised and valued.

    Cognitive behaviour coaching. Guides towards understanding how our thoughts shape our feelings and behaviours. Together, we consciously choose more helpful patterns that improve performance, growth and wellbeing at work.

    Strengths based coaching

    In the words of Warren Buffett:

    ‘‘Look inside yourself. Try to identify your strongest threads. Reinforce them with practice and learning. And then either find or carve out a role that draws on these strengths every day. When you do, you will be more productive, more fulfilled and more successful.’’

    I am able to weave in Gallup, Insights Discovery or Myers Briggs assessments to help you know yourself better and turn these insights into action.

    Executive functioning. These are a set of mental processes that inform how we get work done. I help clients understand and find ways to master 8 executive functioning areas: Planning & Prioritisation; Task initiation; Organisation; Self-monitoring; Working Memory; Impulse Control; and Emotional Regulation.

    I also use somatic techniques and visualisations where useful, typically around decision making.

  • My services are for all levels of seniory, not just top talent or executive leaders. It’s my passion to make coaching accessible to as many professionals as possible.

    Three words to describe my coaching style based on what my clients say: practical, deep and thoughtful.

    Coaching with me is so much more than a chat about your ‘‘to do’’ list. My aim is to create a balance between slowing down to make sense of your world and generating new practical resourcefulness for each person.

    I am always guided by organisational and individual requirements and ROI expectations.

    I am always honest, and will recommend a different solution if I do not think I am the best fit for your challenge.

  • I hold a Certificate in Neurodivergent Inclusive Coaching (ICF accredited). My coaching toolkit includes productivity techniques to unblock task paralysis and to build momentum for goal completion.
